Product information

Nissan  Rouge OCS  b1018  emulator  /  bypass

Compatibility:

  • Make: Nissan
  • Model: Rouge
  • Years: 2007- 2015
  • Version :  USA   - primarily for U.S and Canadian vehicles.

Important  before purchase:

  • Visually inspect the original Occupancy Sensor (OCS) connector. Ensure it has three wires: Red, White, and Brown. This is crucial for vehicles produced during model year transitions (e.g., 2007 or 2015), as different versions may exist. The OCS sensor itself has a 3-wire configuration with red, white, and brown wires on its plug. It is vital to verify compatibility. Please note that the wire colors on the car's side of the connector may differ from those on the OCS sensor side. Refer to the connector image and its location in our product gallery for visual guidance

  • Ensure your vehicle's airbag issue has been correctly diagnosed. Airbag360 emulator specifically resolves fault codes indicating a passenger occupancy sensor malfunction B1018 / B1019

Note: If you are unsure about compatibility with your specific vehicle, please use the contact form or email us at info@airbag360.com.

Airbag360 emulator features:

  • With its original manufacturer connector, the Airbag360 OCS emulator ensures a simple and error-free installation
  • Functionality: Simulates "Seat Occupied" status, enabling the passenger airbag.
  • Manufactured  using high-quality, automotive-grade components.

Installation Instructions:

  1. Turn OFF the ignition. Locate and disconnect the original occupancy sensor connector (3-pronged) under the passenger seat.
  2. Connect the Airbag360 emulator to the original sensor plug.
  3. Turn ON the ignition and start the vehicle.

In most cases, the Airbag warning light will turn OFF automatically after installation.

However, in some instances, you may need to clear stored fault codes, depending on how long the malfunction was present and where the code was saved in the vehicle's memory.

We will also provide you with instructions on how to manually erase fault codes and how to disable the seatbelt reminder light that may be triggered by the occupied signal sent by the emulator.

Airbag360 emulator simulates an occupied seat- therefore, the airbag will be armed, and the car will prompt you to fasten your seatbelt.

Very satisfied, works as advertised.

Pro tip: If your airbag light is still on after plugging this in, look up the process for resetting your airbag light on your Nissan. It takes 2 minutes and anyone can do it. It's just a matter of turning the key on and off several times at the correct intervals.

IT WORKS! Saved me $2400

Thank you so much for creating these. The Nissa dealership quoted me $2,400 to fix my 2008 Nissan Rogue because my VIN was not included in the recall. This is a severe issue. Bypassing the broken part with this device will now always arm the airbag, which is a lot safer than the defective part not allowing the airbag to be armed. Thanks for saving the day airbag360!

Side note: first plug in the device (plug and play under the seat) and then use a diagnostic tool to clear the airbag code. Turn the car off then back on, and the dash & passenger airbag off light will disappear.

Saved me 3 grand

The sensor cleared the passenger airbag light as expected! Only thing is the passenger seat belt light stays on because with the sensor the computer thinks someone is sitting in passenger seat. 3 options. You leave it on so you know passenger needs to put on seatbelt, or buckle it when none is sitting there or disconnect sensor.

Save Yourself $2000.00

My dealership diagnosed a shorted seat sensor and wanted $2000.00 to replace it. This device is effective and dirt simple to install. I then followed the airbag module reset procedures on the internet. God is good!
