⚠️ Important 2007 Model Note: Please verify your vehicle's specific build version. This emulator is strictly for the 2005-2007 pre facilft  model . It will not fit the late 2007 facelift version.

2007–2009 Facelift Model : NOT  COMPATIBLE 

The mid-2007 refresh brought significant mechanical and cosmetic upgrades to the Kia Sorento, which is why the electronic components (like the airbag sensor) differ from earlier years:

• Engine & Performance Upgrades: * LX Trim: Upgraded from the old 3.5L Sigma engine to a 3.3L Lambda V6 (235 hp / 226 lb·ft of torque).

  • EX Trim: Upgraded to a 3.8L Lambda V6 (263 hp / 257 lb·ft of torque).

• Transmission: The 5-speed manual transmission was discontinued. A 5-speed Sportmatic tip-tronic automatic transmission became standard across all trims.

• Exterior Styling: Refreshed with new projector-beam headlights and updated tail lamps.

Airbag360 emulator features:

• With its original manufacturer connector, the Airbag360 OCS emulator ensures a simple and error-free installation
• Functionality: Simulates "Seat Occupied" status, enabling the passenger airbag.

Installation Instructions:

1. Turn OFF the ignition. Locate and disconnect the original occupancy sensor connector (3-pronged) under the passenger seat.
2. Connect the Airbag360 emulator to the original sensor plug.
3. Turn ON the ignition and start the vehicle.

In most cases, the Airbag warning light will turn OFF automatically after installation.

However, in some instances, you may need to clear stored fault codes, depending on how long the malfunction was present and where the code was saved in the vehicle's memory
