Code Description Common Causes
B0081 Passenger Presence System Invalid Serial Data/Malfunction Loose wiring connectors under the seat, shifting of the sensor pad, improperly routed harness, or a wet seat cushion.
B0074 Passenger Presence System malfunction Similar causes to B0081, often related to wiring or connector issues.
B0092 Passenger Presence System performance issue Often caused by a wet passenger seat cushion.
2036, 1059, 2037 General PPS sensor faults Wiring/connector issues or a faulty sensor/module.

 

Installation Instructions:

With its original manufacturer connector, the Airbag360 OCS emulator ensures a simple and error-free installation. Crucially, for safety, it simulates a "Seat Occupied" status, thereby enabling the passenger airbag

  1. Turn OFF the ignition. Locate and disconnect the original occupancy sensor connector  under the passenger seat.
  2. Connect the Airbag360 emulator to the original sensor plug.
  3. Turn on the ignition and erase the code using the recommended TECH2 OBD scanner

The emulator simulates an occupied seat Therefore, the airbag will be armed, and the car will prompt you to fasten your seatbelt.
