          Prior to order please  check an emulator for equinox 2009-2014 it has the different sensor that was also fitted in Equinox from 2009 to 2014.

Connector  for the sensor  is always attached to the base of the seat  -  picture below.   IS NOT  COMING OF THE FLOOR. 


Sensor side  connector  has  4 wires - red, brown, yellow and white.

W h a t    a r e   o c c u p a n c y  s e n s o r s  ( O C S ) ?

                   


OCS are very expensive   sensors integrated in vehicle seats . 
Inside the seat, you will find a pressure sensor, and an electronic control unit (ECU). 

When someone sits on the seat, the pressure/ occupancy  sensor signals the occupant's weight to the ECU. 

The ECU then sends that data to the airbag, which has its own control unit. 

Based on that information, the vehicle's computer turns the passenger airbag ON or OFF .

Airbag360 emulators connected in to harness under to passenger seat 
stimulates presence of the passenger.

For Safety reasons Airbag360 emulator generated and send the same signal to ECU as occupied seat.
 
In case of accident  the Airbag will deploy even without presence of Passenger 
Airbag's are permanently activated

 
We Advice that rear-facing child seat's not to be transported on front seat in your vehicle  when emulator is in use.

Remember  even on cars equipped with an OCS, it's always safest to keep small children in the back seat.

Installation of Airbag360 emulator do not required removal  or  and disassemble of the seat  -  NO  labour cost .

Prior to buying an Airbag360 module, please make sure that your car’s airbag problem has been correctly diagnosed.

If you are unsure about the OBDII diagnostic codes or their description, please contact us and we will check and confirm them for you.

Our Airbag360 emulator will only cure / resolve diagnostic fault codes that indicate a passenger occupancy sensor malfunction.

Any other unrelated codes need to be resolved separately.

I n s t a l l a t i o n 
  

Airbag360 emulators are equipped with an original manufacturer connector.

Installation can be completed in 3 simple steps.

1. With the ignition turned OFF (disconnecting the battery is not necessary) look under the passenger seat and disconnect the original occupancy sensor connector. (3-pronged)

2. Replace the original sensor plug with the Airbag360 emulator

3. Turn on the ignition and start the vehicle.

In most cases after the installation of our emulator, the SRS warning light will go OFF without having to erase any fault codes.

In some cases it depends on how long the malfunction fault code has been stored and in which memory it was saved to.

Very easy to install and works as advertised. FYI, when you install the adapter your seat belt warning will chime because it thinks somebody is sitting there without the seatbelt on. Not sure there is a way to fix this besides keeping the seat belt connected at all times.

NO more Air bag light!!!!

Installed this device in my wife’s 2008 Equinox instead of a $600 new seat from the dealer plus install and reprogramming the computer. This device is plug and play it works perfect no more lights on the dash and now the airbag system is active and working again. I also unplug the seat belt switch so the passage belt light and buzz isn’t going off when driving if there’s know one in the seat the ECM thinks you have a passage and there seat belt isn’t buckled.

It does exactly what they say it will had my doubts cause at the dealer this fix would be 1000 plus so I was sceptical at first but figured it was a chance in the dark it came in within 3 days I a women I reach under the seat disconnected the seat and plugged the 360 in an when I started the car light was gone thank you so much this was such a fast easy cheap fix
